When I was a kid in 1984 they introduced this cartoon about cars and trucks and planes that could also turn into robots. Transform into them if you will. Now here we are over 20 years later and not only are they still making them but there's a live action movie due to be released in 2007 which I WILL be first in line for. I might even take Zach with me! Now granted, he'll only be one and a half or two but he may still be up for it. I think I'm going to try and collect all of the new line they've created called "Transformers: Cybertron". I've already started with this one right here:
Isn't he cool? Now if you remember the movie they made back in 1986 Blurr was voiced by John Moschitta who holds the Guiness world record for "fastest talker". And sure enough, Bluur could talk a fast game but he was also quick-moving. The unsung hero I'm afraid.
Zach: "Hey, how's everyone doin' out there?"

"Ye Olde Baptism Is A-Comin!"
So far, we've taken two baptism classes and we're planning on it being sometime in April. Seeing as how I have not been baptized it's kind of weird that the kids are going to be. Does that make me a heathen? Nah. I was never one for rituals or symbolism as it relates to religion. My approach has always been repent for the bad things you do and be thankful for the good things you have. I know I should witness more for people who do not have God in their lives but I just can't seem to make myself do it. Maybe if it bothered me more I would...
Going over to grandma's house tonight for a cookout...which should be fun since it's like 30 degrees out there! Maybe we'll cook something inside. Who knows. After dinner we play this card game called baseball. Takes too long to explain it but it's a lot of fun...especially if you a)drink or b)gamble. Good times.
Cari got hired on up here at Pharmacare! She'll be downstairs while I'll be upstairs. She was freaking out when she got this Fedex envelope with all her hire materials in it yesterday. We agreed it's not such a bad thing we're not next to each other ha ha...
To conslude, here's a picture of my grandfather...84 years old this July and still as spry as he was when he was 78. Emmy even got him to play hopscotch...granted it was kind of a one-sided victory for my girl but the effort was admirable from him ha ha

"Back To The Future"
Ever wish you could time travel? I sure wish I could. What I'd love to do is go back to the year 1910 when cigarettes started putting these little picture of baseball players with each pack. No-names like Eddie Plunk, Honus Wagner and some guy named Ty Cobb. These are worth thousands of dollars today and no one had any idea. Now that we know, the baseball card industry have become a multi-billion dollar industry and the trick is they won't even be worth much due to over-production. Kind of what happened to Star Wars Phantom Menace toys. Millions of people (myself included) bought loads of toys, kept them unopened, and now if you go on eBay you can get them cheaper (minus shipping of course) then what you would have paid for them back in 1999. Ah well. I like what I collected. I went after a lot of stuff that you couldn't find like the Darth Maul Cd Player. It's not even on eBay so maybe there's someone who will pay more then the %70 I paid for it eh?
I'm starting to feel a bit...overwhelmed at the idea of having two kids. One seemed so easy but two just doubles the work sometimes. Plus the house needs so much work inside and out and just thinking about it makes me physically tired. But I know I will get it done. We will get it done. My biggest hope for my kids is they can always feel like they can talk to me or their mom if something is bothering them and if they can't talk to us, then talk to someone. Anyone. Teacher, pastor, friend, parent of a friend...no one should have to live with guilt or remorse about anything.
Oh by the way, I won Employee Of The Month from Addecco for January!! I got a t-shirt, a certificate, and the kicker: $20 from where else Walmart! I have a feeling I will be using it on something...frivolous? Maybe. We shall see...what should I spend it on?

Brinker Rules!
Why you ask? Wellie...they gave me $60 in On The Border Bucks to taste some new entrees they are preparing to serve in their OTB resteraunts. I really wish I hadn't had a Double Quarter Pounder combo meal from McDonald's like an hour before. But I knew I could make room, and by gar I'm glad I did! Some of their meals were kind of out of the ordinary (i.e.: Smoked Chicken Enchiladas w/chipotle sour cream sauce and a 6 oz. Sirloin Steak w/chipotle garlic butter), but the Inside Out Menu shows a lot of promise. What they did was take the meat out of popular dishes and put it on top of the meal and then add a signature sauce on top of that. Mui Bueno!
Well, my collector site is officially up and running! You can scroll down to click the link or you can click here to go there. SO as of today...no more toys of mine will ever grace this site...(sigh)
Zach had a killer night's sleep last night...he gurgled till about 10 but after that...not a peep until I was up! Good going brutha man!! Now keep in mind he's been sleeping all night for about a week now. But man...every night about 2 or 2:30am he would make this "W-A-A-A-H" that got me up and by the time I got back to sleep it was time to get up. I couldn't be mad at him though. But last night...he was the MAN!
Oh it is such a hard life isn't it?

"And A Change Is Gonna Come My Way..."
Anyone know what song that's from? I'll reveal the answer a little later. Basically I'm announcing a new site I'm creating...a spinoff if you will...that will showcase all of my collectables. Now you may be asking, "But Mike, why? Oh why?" Well, calm down and I'll tell you. I've been getting some feedback...complaints if you will...that my site takes too long to load due to my thumbnails of my collection. So, with that being taken into consideration, I will begin work on my as-yet-untitled new home for my "children" lol. Stay tuned, I should have something up and running by tomorrow.
P.S.: The song is "Getting Better" by Tesla, the greatest hair metal band ever!
Heh heh...too funny. Thanks Dan!!
