We had a pretty cool Easter weekend. I of course enjoyed a three day weekend and took Zach and Emmy up to my office and man, everyone just loved them Someone should, right? Ha Ha just kidding. Then I took them to Cari's work where they met a similar greeting. Can everyone be right? Are my kids the cutest in the world? It's hard to argue with everyone. So maybe I won't. Here are a few pix from Sunday:
Zach: "Hey Dad, the Easter Bunny brought me some Legos!"
Me: "Hey that's great. Um..."
Zach: "Something on your mind?"
Me: "Yeah...did he happen to bring you some, oh, I don't know...clothes?"
Zach: "Yeah he did. I traded them for more candy."
Me: "Good call."
Emmy: "Help! I'm getting sprayed with Silly String! Please tell me it won't hurt me!"
Me: (looking at ingredients): "Let's see...Highly Flammable...Do Not Ingest...Sticks Like Crazy Glue...yeah, you should be okay."
Just a great shot of a gigantic bubble!
I got on Facebook and it seemed like everyone was all, "Glad to see the stone moved!" and what have you. Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice so that we may be saved. Our lives are so temporary here on Earth and it is starting to bug me that people worry so much about things that they have no control over. Gotta start letting some things go ya know? Nothing that happens to you over the course of your life is unfixable. A little time and a little effort can stretch eons. 30,000 days is all we get, give or take. Do we really want to be spending them unhappy? Didn't think so.
